It's no surprise that anti-porn and religious groups have been fighting the move for years because they feel it will make porn sites more visible and mainstream.
But, amazingly, some people in the porn industry are afraid of the .xxx domain suffix and believe there is a lot of money to be lost.
With so many porn sites tagged with .xxx, it will be very easy for parents, employers and governments to police unwanted content. It's like those websites will be marked with a big red "X."
